Terms of Service
Last updated September 29, 2026
These terms govern use of CleanOps, operations software for commercial cleaning companies. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorized to do so.
The service
CleanOps provides scheduling, building checklists, rotational task tracking, supply requests, shift records and timesheet reporting for janitorial companies. It is a record-keeping and coordination tool. It does not perform cleaning work and is not a party to any agreement between a cleaning company and its clients or workers.
Accounts and access
The person who creates a company account is the account owner. The owner may invite managers and cleaners, set their roles, and remove them at any time. The owner is responsible for who is given access and for the accuracy of the information entered.
Each person is responsible for keeping their login details private. Notify us promptly if you believe an account has been accessed without permission.
14-day free trial
New companies receive a 14-day free trial with full access to every feature. No credit card is required to start the trial, and it can be cancelled at any time.
At the end of the trial, a paid plan is required to continue using the service. Your data is not deleted when a trial ends — access simply pauses until a plan is started.
Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance based on the number of active people on your team. Every plan includes all features and unlimited buildings; there are no per-feature charges.
- 1 – 10 active users — $39 per month
- 11 – 30 active users — $49 per month
- 31 – 50 active users — $69 per month
- 51 – 100 active users — $89 per month
- 101 – 200 active users — $109 per month
- 201+ active users — custom pricing, contact us
If your team grows past the limit of your current plan, your plan moves to the matching tier. Payments are processed by our payment provider; CleanOps does not store card numbers. Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice to the account owner.
Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel at any time from your billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and access continues until then. Monthly fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use CleanOps to break the law, to store information you have no right to store, to attempt to access another company's workspace, or to interfere with the security or performance of the service. We may suspend an account that does so.
Location and shift records
CleanOps records a location reading when a cleaning is started and completed, so that visits can be verified against the building address. It is the cleaning company's responsibility to inform its workers that this verification is in use and to comply with any applicable employment, privacy and monitoring laws in its area.
Location readings depend on the device and signal conditions, and may be imprecise indoors. They are provided as supporting evidence, not as proof of attendance.
Timesheets, payroll and classification
CleanOps records start and finish times and can label workers as hourly (W-2) or subcontractor (1099) for reporting purposes. It does not calculate pay, withhold taxes, or provide payroll, tax, legal or employment-classification advice. The cleaning company alone is responsible for worker classification, wage compliance and payroll accuracy.
Your data
You own the information your company enters into CleanOps. We store and process it to operate the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You may request an export or deletion of your company's data at any time.
Availability
We work to keep CleanOps available at all times, but the service is provided on an "as is" basis without guarantees of uninterrupted access. Maintenance, third-party outages, and internet or mobile network conditions can affect availability.
Limitation of liability
CleanOps is not responsible for the performance of cleaning work or for events at a job site. This includes, without limitation, missed cleanings, property damage, lost or misused keys, alarm codes or access credentials, alarm activations, theft, injury, disputes between a cleaning company and its clients or workers, or loss of a client contract.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for CleanOps in the twelve months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including lost profits.
Termination
You may stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end access for non-payment or for a serious breach of these terms, with notice where reasonably possible.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page and communicated to account owners. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
